Volunteering

The charity is always looking for volunteers on both a long and short term basis to either spend time on the projects in Romania or to raise funds from overseas to support the ongoing work.

long term

The charity believes that longer periods of time spent in Romania give each individual a better chance to understand and build relationships with the young people we help. Despite this we also understand that people are not able to commit to lengthier periods.

short term

There is the possibility of doing shorter term programmes and we encourage volunteers to be open about their own skills and background so we can build these in most effectively whilst they are with us.

Fundraising

A pub quiz? A raffle? A dinner dance? A sports event?

There are always people who can support you in the planning and organisation of these type of events and we have held many successful events before. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if there is something you would like to co-ordinate.

School groups

We are very fortunate to be able to accommodate school groups and already have a hugely successful partnership with Dauntsey’s School, Wiltshire, who bring a team of students every year.

We work closely with the group and staff involved in the lead up to their visit to ensure that we can factor in both time spent with the charity and opportunities to get a taste for Romania and its culture.

Sponsor a child scheme

If you would like to become involved with a particular child there is an option of sponsorship. This is an opportunity to support a child through their personal development and receive regular updates on their progress from both the child in question and the charity.
